FOR PARENTS & GUARDIANS

You don’t have to figure
out the next step alone.

DPA helps teens practice skills they can use in school, work, and everyday life—and explore what comes after graduation.

  1. Choose a goal together.

Is your teen looking for confidence, workplace skills, scholarship help, entrepreneurship, or exposure to new possibilities?

  2. Explore a program.

Review the program description and its registration or interest page for age requirements, format, dates, fees, and location.

  3. Connect before making plans.

Ask a question about my teen

Good questions. Clear next steps.

What ages can participate?

DPA’s core mission focuses on high school students. Scholarship Success is for grades 9–12, She’s T.H.A.T. Girl is designed for girls ages 13–18, and the original Confidence Conversations & Cupcakes flyer lists girls ages 14–18. Other opportunities may serve different ages; check the specific program.

What does participation cost?

Fees and sponsored opportunities vary by program. Check the registration page for current pricing. Contact DPA to ask about financial support or upcoming sponsored places.

Are programs online or in person?

Both formats are part of DPA’s approach. In-person programs are hosted at partner spaces across North Texas; virtual and online opportunities extend access beyond the local area.

Does an interest form confirm a place?

Use the linked form to express interest or join a waiting list. For enrollment confirmation and final attendance instructions, check with the DPA team.
